Sensors are plug and play :

Smart sensors are interchangeable as well as plug and play. The SC-01 allows the user to change sensors on the fly without worrying about set up or configuration. The sensors retain calibration information. Users are able to calibrate the sensors separate from the instrument using this feature as well as having multiple sensors for one instrument.

Lightweight as well as Versatile:

The SC-01 Weighs only 215 grams. In addition it has many features which set it apart from the competition. It has sensors for Ammonia (NH3), Arsine (ASH3), Carbon Monoxide (CO) and Chlorine (Cl2) as well as Hydrogen Cyanide (HCN), Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S), Phosphine (PH3) and  Sulphur Dioxide (SO2) for example.

Extender cable :

The SC-01 has a unique extender cable. This allows the sensor to be attached to the end of a 3m cable for remote monitoring.

There is a large LCD display that shows users the gas reading in addition to battery level, current time. It automatically backlights in alarm conditions. The SC-01 has Standard alarm types that include vibration, visual as well as audible alarms.  Users can set the Alarms can to latching as well as self-resetting.

Datalogging is standard :

The SC-01 is controlled by a microprocessor. It continuously checks itself for sensor connections, low battery in addition to circuit trouble. The batteries are simple to replace, requiring no tools to access the battery compartment. One set of AA alkaline batteries provides continuous operation for over 250 hours. The SC-01 is equipped with datalogging capability as standard.  Users use an IR Port to communicate with the datalogger via an optional Windows® based datalogging software program .

Calibration reminders :

Calibration intervals and reminders are user adjustable and can be set go into alarm as well as lock the user out of normal measurement mode once a calibration period has expired
