The LD-450 from Toray Engineering Co Ltd is a highly advanced, high performance as well as low cost Zirconia Oxygen Analyser. The LD-450 has very high levels of durability in addition to reliability and repeatability.
The Analyser measures oxygen concentrations accurately in the range from ppb to 100% volume. The unit displays oxygen concentration in % vol, ppm, as well as oxygen partial pressure displayed in the range of 10-0 to 10-20 atm.

Toray Oxygen Analysers determine oxygen concentration by using the conductivity of a Zirconium ceramic cell. Zirconium ceramic cells allow only oxygen ions to pass through at high temperatures. The Instrument uses a reference gas on one side and sample gas on the other. Oxygen ions move from the side with the highest concentration to that with the lowest concentration. This movement of ions generates an Electro Motive Force (EMF) which is measured to determine oxygen content. This process is in accordance with the Nernst Equation.
