Riken Keiki SC-8000 Single Toxic Gas Detector :

The SC-8000 is a single toxic gas detector  built for tough as well as demanding environments. It is durable and sets new standards for rugged, reliable as well as portable toxic gas detection. The monitor is robust, yet lightweight. It is a sample drawing monitor that is designed to be intrinsically safe. The Sc-8000 provides continuous exposure monitoring in safe or hazardous areas.

It sets a new standard for rugged, reliable, portable toxic gas detection. It is robust and lightweight. The SC-8000 is sample drawing and is designed to provide continuous exposure monitoring in safe as well as hazardous areas. It has ATEX Approval.

Users benefit from a large LCD display that makes reading the SC-8000 easy. It is simple to use even when the operator is wearing a hazmat suit. The Unit has data-logging as standard.

For loud environments the unit is equipped with a 95dB alarm that alternates between a high & low pitch so the alarm can be heard in noisy places. This, in addition to three bright LED lamps make the SC-8000 alarms very noticeable.

The unit is intrinsically safe for hazardous areas and designed to be waterproof to IP67. In the SC-8000, users have an extremely rugged unit for the most demanding situations.

SC-8000 is able to detect some of the most common toxic gases.  The Sc-8000 detects  Silane (SiH4), Phosphine (PH3), Arsine (AsH3), Ammonia (NH3), Hydrogen Chloride (HCl), Chlorine (Cl2) as well as  Hydrogen Fluoride (HF), plus many others. See Gas list for all gases.
