Although the company in its present format was formed in 1981, it has had a business relationship with Riken Keiki since the late 1950s, when the founder supplied gas detectors to the British Coal Board for use in all the coal mines. This long-term association has meant that an excellent business relationship exists between the two companies enabling Weatherall to develop sales in specialist industries such as Semiconductor, Fumigation, Marine Shipping and Anaesthetics.

The sales and marketing of Clarex® & Blue Ocean® Screen acrylic products has been developed since 1994. Nitto Jushi Kogyo manufacture many high quality products under the brand names Clarex® and Blue Ocean® Screen. They improve and enhance the visibility of display devices, including reflectors, transflectors, light-diffusion filters, non-glare filters, infrared, ultraviolet filters and front/rear projection screens. Clarex® specialize in non-glare and anti-reflection filters for displays such as: LCD, CRT, EL, PDP, VFD and LED.

Weatherall are regular participants in exhibitions during which they have the support and assistance of Riken and Clarex® personnel. The company has a proven record of reliability and first class bank references.
